This product is intended to support the Migrating Motor Complex (MMC), a cyclical motility pattern that occurs in the stomach (in a fasting state) and the small bowel.* The MMC initiates peristalsis along the entire intestinal tract and is responsible for sweeping stomach and bowel contents distally.
