It provides our foundational potency of L-methylfolate with a well-rounded multivitamin. The MethylPro® Multivitamin will leave you prepared to meet the unpredictable demands of your day by providing essential nutrients to support methylation, reliable energy and immune health functions. Unlike folic acid, the most common form of folate in supplements and fortified foods, L-methylfolate, does not require conversion by the MTHFR enzyme to be active in the body. A significant number of people have genetic variations that reduce the ability of the MTHFR enzyme to make this conversion. For this population, L-methylfolate supplementation may be a more effective form of folate.
